Getting Back in the Air

After about eight or nine years of being grounded due to shoulder problems I’m finally getting back on the flying trapeze. I’ve been practising some of my old tricks but it’s scary to be flying without the safety lines again! I’m old now, y’know!!

Circus Performers Astride Horses

Two horses stand next to each other on a tree-lined street, their reins held by a male circus performer, while Oscar Lowande, another male performer stands atop, with one leg positioned on the back of each horse, and his wife, Mamie Lowande, standing on his shoulders, creating a pyramid effect. They are members of the Forepaugh & Sells Bros. Circus. 1899
